On behalf of all of the employee – owners of Matthews, the Web Support Team is pleased to bring to you some enhancements to this web site. We have made a few improvements to our web site that we think you will enjoy and find helpful. These are small enhancements that improve the Bookshelf and Advance Search functionality.

Improved Advance Search

• A new ranking algorithm has been created to bring more accuracy and meaning to the results. The search queries are now sorted by relevance instead of title.
• New fields have been added to the advance search option to narrow the results to what is more meaningful for you.
• A “Sounds Like” feature has been created and added into the search. For example if you misspell “cardiovasular” the search will know that it sounds like “cardiovascular” and will bring the proper results. We have tested this with the most complicated medical terms with positive results. So… if you are not sure of the spelling, let our search feature do the guess work for you. Give it a try! Please don’t hesitate to send feedback to us.

• Bookshelf is a quick and easy way to save access to titles you may want to reference, buy or create a list from at a later date. Matthews has taken the bookshelf tool to the next level, allowing users to create and manage multiple bookshelves. Bookshelves can be named and users can add titles to multiple bookshelves. The addition of multiple bookshelves has been one of the most frequently requested features to be added to the website.
